The 8th Cycle of the WorldView Three-Month Teacher Training Program Launches October 23

Starting October 23, the Visual Armenia Foundation will launch the 8th cycle of its free, Three-Month Online Training Program on the use of the innovative WorldView educational platform.

And this cycle marks a new stage in the program’s development.

WorldView continues to expand across subject areas. Alongside History, Geography, Literature, and other humanities disciplines, the platform is increasingly incorporating science and STEM content. One of the key additions to the 8th cycle is Biology, bringing new opportunities for visual, interactive, and inquiry-based learning.

If a historical event can be explored through maps and timelines, and a literary work can be understood in relation to its time, place, and social context, how can we make the structure of a cell, the development of organ systems, biodiversity, or the relationship between humans and nature equally visible and explorable?

In the eighth cycle, these worlds will find their way to one another.

As more subjects become part of WorldView, the possibilities for interdisciplinary teaching expand as well. History can connect with Biology, Geography with environmental issues, and Literature with Social Sciences, while technology can help make these connections visible, interactive, and open to exploration.

In short, the 8th cycle will bring new subjects, new tools, new connections, and significantly broader opportunities for interdisciplinary teaching and learning.

And, as always, the program remains open to teachers of all subjects.

The 2026 WorldView Three-Month Teacher Training Program was officially endorsed by the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of the Republic of Armenia under Order No. 946-A/2 of May 22, 2026.

✨ The Three-Month Program Is an Opportunity to:

• rethink and strengthen your teaching approaches;
• learn to use visual and interactive educational tools effectively;
• create student-centered and inquiry-based learning environments;
• discover connections across subjects and design interdisciplinary lessons;
• develop your own original lessons and educational materials;
• learn not only from trainers, but also from fellow teachers across Armenia and the Diaspora;
• become part of the continuously growing WorldView teacher community.

🧬 New for Biology Teachers

Beginning with the 8th cycle, participants will also explore WorldView’s new Biology learning environment and discover how visualization, digital educational resources, and interactive tools can support the study of the living world—from structure and function to the evolution of organ systems, reproduction and development, behavior, biodiversity, and the relationship between humans and nature.

But the addition of Biology to WorldView is not relevant only to Biology teachers. It also creates new possibilities for interdisciplinary work across Geography, History, Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, Technology, and other subjects.

For Biology teachers specifically, the program offers an opportunity not only to explore new educational content, but also to test it in the classroom, develop their own learning solutions, and share their experience of applying them in practice.

🎓 Knowledgeable • Skilled • Researcher

Within the three-month program, teachers can progress through three levels of professional development and, upon meeting the relevant requirements, receive WorldView certification at the Knowledgeable, Skilled, and Researcher levels.

Certification requires active participation in training sessions, practical use of WorldView in teaching, and the development and presentation of lessons using the platform’s Presentation Mode.
