Teacher Empowerment is Our Priority

We are pleased to announce that the team of the Visual Armenia Development Foundation was in the Gegharkunik region to conduct an orientation meeting regarding the mandatory certification of teachers.

42 teachers and directors from the communities of the Gavar region joined our meeting, demonstrating great interest and commitment to enhancing the effectiveness of the training programs.

During the meeting, the specific features of the Visual Armenia Development Foundation’s module were also discussed, one of which is the opportunity to achieve final outcomes with the help of Worldview.

“The Foundation has set a goal to create and develop a truly effective, needs-based, and outcome-oriented mandatory training program. Regional visits are not an end in themselves; we need to be able to listen and work with the teachers on- site. It is inspiring that we have allies in this endeavor, both in the form of current teachers and school principals,” said Arevik Avetisyan, WorldView program manager, during the meeting.

Ani Hovhannisyan, in charge of Foundation’s Mandatory Trainings, and Naira Yerkanyan, coordinator of the “Smart Screens for Worldview Schools 2024” program, elaborated on both the training procedures and the modular features, as well as the connections and priorities between the sections of the trainings.

Visits to the regions will continue; follow us to be updated on our activities! Let’s create better education in Armenia together.
