In-Person Discussion with Mentees of the “WorldView Mentorship Scholarship 2025-2026” Program

Recently, the Visual Armenia Development Foundation hosted an in-person discussion meeting with the mentees of the “WorldView Mentorship Scholarship 2025-2026” program-an important milestone in this year’s program implementation.
The purpose of the meeting was to create an open and collaborative environment in which participants could align around the program’s goals, structure, expected outcomes, and roles, reflect on progress to date, and jointly identify ways to further strengthen and improve the mentorship program.
The mentees were welcomed by Hovhannes Ghazaryan, Executive Director of the Visual Armenia Development Foundation and the creator of the WorldView educational platform, who presented the program’s vision and its importance in the context of Armenia’s education system development.
This was followed by a keynote address by Seda Kocharyan, Senior Trainer of the WorldView Mentorship Program, who, through a brief historical perspective, once again highlighted the role and impact of genuine leadership for future teacher-leaders and outlined the professional outcomes expected from the program.
One of the key objectives of the meeting was to conduct a SWOT analysis of the mentorship program. The session was facilitated by Haykanush Ghevondyan, the Foundation’s trainer-expert and standards lead, together with Seda Kocharyan. During the discussion, participants jointly examined the program’s strengths and weaknesses, opportunities for growth, and potential risks, and also proposed concrete steps to address them.
“The program is unique, the feedback and evaluation system is constantly active, I see professional growth in my work every day, and the use of the WorldView platform is highly effective,” noted one of the mentees.
A summary of the SWOT findings is presented below.
As a result of the discussion, several key strengths of the program were highlighted:
- the formation of a strong professional community,
- a clear mentorship model and a high-quality feedback system,
- a strong practical orientation,
- the multifunctional use of the WorldView platform,
- a modular, flexible, and modern structure.
At the same time, a number of challenges were identified, including time-management difficulties, limited technical resources, resistance to innovative methods, and the need to sustain participant motivation.

- continuous support for mentors’ work,
