TeachCup 2025: A Celebration of Knowledge and Collaboration

On October 11, the TeachCup 2025 Teachers’ Intellectual Cup was held at the Khachatur Abovyan Armenian State Pedagogical University in Yerevan. Organized in the format of the popular game “What? Where? When?”, the competition brought together teachers to test their knowledge, quick thinking, and teamwork skills through a spirit of friendly collaboration.
The event was organized by the KASA Swiss Humanitarian Foundation, with the support of the Visual Armenia Foundation and other partners.
TeachCup united 20 teams of teachers and school principals from Yerevan and the regions of Armenia, who had voluntarily applied to participate — turning the day into a true celebration of knowledge, connection, and professional camaraderie.
“This is the second year that Visual Armenia stands alongside this inspiring initiative for the teaching community. We believe that education is never confined to the walls of a classroom or a school. It begins there — but continues everywhere people come together to think, analyze, learn, and inspire one another. Congratulations to all participants, and my sincere thanks to our colleagues at KASA for organizing this wonderful educational celebration,” — said Sona Yeghiazaryan, Deputy CEO of the Visual Armenia Development Foundation.
As a token of appreciation, Visual Armenia presented the winning teams with 20 WorldView educational packages, including “WorldView on the Teacher’s Desk,” the Foundation’s official methodological manual for modern educators.
