Christine Simone a friend and supporter of Visual Armenia Development Foundation visits schools to learn about Ashkarhatsuyts educational platform

Christine Simone, the President of Manoogian Simone Foundation and Hovhannes Ghazaryan the executive director of the Visual Armenia Development Foundation visited schools N 181 in Yerevan and N 4 in Etchmiadzin to see the Ashkarhatsuyts innovative educational platform in action piloted since September.

The visitors learned about use of the educational platform during the learning and teaching process, while observing the opportunities it gives to the teachers and students to make the lessons more visualized and interactive.

Christine Simone, who is a friend and supporter of the Foundation, had an interesting interaction with the students sharing the success story of her grandfather, the national hero of Armenia Alex Manoogian. Talking about the fascinating and productive life story of Mr. Manoogian she highlighted the importance of acquiring quality education at all times as the cornerstone of her message to the students.

«My grandfather was born in Smyrna in the Ottoman Empire – now Izmir, Turkey, and though he came from a modest family had a very good education – an education that formed the foundation for all his future successes….

Education opens our minds, gives us a way to approach whatever we do or face in life and it can be the foundation of all our opportunities” said Ms. Simone while addressing the students in the schools.

At the moment, the platform is used in more than fifty schools of the Republic of Armenia.

With “Ashkharhatsuyts” innovative educational platform one can showcase any historic event or name between time and space, allowing teachers to visualize their words and deliver the lesson in a more interesting manner for students.
