A Story of Transformation: Visual Armenia’s First Four Years

Four years. Hundreds of schools. Thousands of teachers. Tens of thousands of students.

And one shared vision — to reimagine how knowledge is delivered and experienced in Armenia’s public schools.
We are proud to present the Visual Armenia Development Foundation’s Four-Year Report (2021–2024) — A Story of Transformation.

This is more than a report. It is the story of people, ideas, and collective effort that opened a new chapter in Armenian education — a journey that began with one spark, Brainograph EdTech, and grew into an ecosystem of innovation known as WorldView. Inside these pages, you’ll find not only data and achievements, but human stories — of teachers who dared to change and challenge themselves, students who rediscovered learning, and partners who believed that education can transform a nation.

“My long-held concerns about the quality of education in Armenia became deeply personal in November 2020… My daughter Nare, then in 6th grade, approached me for help with her Armenian History lesson… I realized that a 21st-century student has entirely different needs for how a lesson is delivered.”
Hovhannes Ghazaryan, Executive Director of the Visual Armenia Development Foundation, Visionary behind WorldView and Brainograph EdTech

This was not an accident of progress, but a bold act of innovation — one that began with the subject of Armenian History and soon set out to bring life to many more subjects taught in Armenian schools, making learning visual, connected, and dynamic. Introduced in classrooms in the fall of 2021, Brainograph EdTech quickly became one of the most impactful innovations in Armenian public education — a catalyst that sparked a movement and gave rise to a range of need-driven programs.

As nature’s rivers carve their course from a single source, Brainograph became the origin of WorldView — an ever-expanding educational ecosystem. Today, this ecosystem encompasses innovative content development, teacher professional development, and school digital transformation programs, engaging tens of thousands of teachers and students across Armenia.

“Teachers are our social soldiers. They have the ability to shape a student’s life, encourage their individual talents, and inspire them to strive toward their potential. They can change the fabric of the country if they are successful with their students. We must do everything we can to support them and enhance their skills.”
Christine Simone, President of the Manoogian Simone Foundation and Strategic Partner of the Visual Armenia Foundation

And so began our journey toward systemic change — a path guided by clarity of purpose, steady growth, and a deep belief in transformation.

Through this report, we invite you to explore the story behind Visual Armenia — its founding vision, guiding principles, and the journey marked by both challenges and achievements that led to measurable national impact. It also unveils the unseen work and the many people whose dedication, partnership, and trust transformed a bold idea into transformative change across hundreds of Armenian schools in just four years.

✨ Because the future doesn’t simply arrive — it is built, lesson by lesson, within the walls of our classrooms.
