WorldView presented at the summer school teaching about the Armenian Genocide

At the summer school “Teaching the Topic of the Armenian Genocide” for teachers, the educational platform WorldView was presented by the Program Director Arevik Avetisyan and mentor teacher Mariam Khachatryan. They showed the methods for teaching about cultural genocide and highlighting the relevance of this topic.

The Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute has organized this summer school for the sixth time. This year, approximately forty teachers of Armenian history and social studies from Yerevan and the regions participated. The meeting with our team included an active Q&A session.

Arevik Avetisyan, the Program Director of the WorldView, emphasized the importance of organizing such events and expressed gratitude to the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute for the opportunity to present the platform: “This institution and the topic are of significant value to me. I am pleased that the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute is advancing its educational programs. We are hopeful that by combining our efforts we can enhance the awareness of the importance of teaching about the Armenian Genocide and ensure its implementation in both schools and higher education institutions. By the end of the year, our platform will be enriched with numerous articles essential for the study of this topic. Teachers will be able to effectively incorporate these resources into their lesson plans using suitable methods, techniques, and tools,” said the Program Director.
