Next stop of the regional workshop was Armavir
On November 11, Visual Armenia Development Foundation in partnership with the National Center for Education Development and Innovation held the sixth regional free workshop on learning and using the educational innovative program Ashkharatsuyts in Etchmiadzin N4 basic school.
The purpose is to help teachers acquire knowledge on how to use the platform, adapt it in the classroom and also develop their teaching skills.
“Our primary objective is to increase the effectiveness of teaching and learning in schools through innovative technologies and systemic approach. I do believe that Ashkharatsuyts opens up that opportunity as it is entirely based on innovative solutions. The workshops aim to transfer the knowledge and skills on how to make the most out of Ashkharhatsuyts. It is gratifying to see that our History teachers are truly motivated to teach History subject in a new way. The proof of that is the big teacher community built around it. We will do everything possible to empower our teachers with an expectation that they educate a competitive generation ready for tomorrow’s challenges as a result.”, said Hovhannes Ghazaryan, Executive Director of Visual Armenia Development Foundation, the author of Ashkharatsuyts.
“At our regional seminars teachers learn how to apply Ashkharatsuyts during lessons and acquire computer literacy skills as well, which they need to effectively organize their lessons in general. The platform has truly become an indispensable working tool for teachers serving as a helping hand in timely and effective preparation for lessons”, said Arevik Avetisyan, Program Director of Ashkharatsuyts.
During the workshop the participant teachers strengthened their theoretical knowledge through practical tasks as well. The teachers left the workshops empowered with sufficient skills to conduct their teaching according to modern educational standards and become competent in using this innovation in the classroom.
Visual Armenia Development Foundation together with the National Center for Education Development and Innovation has launched a series of regional workshops on learning and using the educational innovative platform Ashkharatsuyts since April 2023.
